Letters from 1925

It appears that Herbert was in Heilbron, working at the National Bank and in March Phemie went on a trip to Johannesburg by train.

By May, it seems that Herbert was in Queenstown. In the letter of 7 May he refers to going to Fort Beaufort, which was Phemie's home town and apparently he was going to see her there as he told her not to get too excited!

In the next letter, she was going to come by train to visit him in Queenstown.
